Jeremy Marler – Class of 1989
Jeremy was killed in auto accident on March 21, 2004 in Tennessee. A Rutherford County man died yesterday after his car slammed into the rear of a tractor-trailer that had slowed down for construction on Interstate 24 near State Route 840. Police said he was traveling east on I-24 near 840 when the 1989 Nissan Pulsar he was driving hit the tractor-trailer. The truck was moving slowly because of construction traffic, said Kathy Bryant, dispatcher for Tennessee Highway Patrol. Marler, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene. The driver of the truck was unharmed.
